My Approach:
Therapy with me is client-centred, open-minded, and tailored to your goals and readiness for change.
I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to take steps toward the change you want to see.
I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ2SIA+ community and diverse individuals from all walks of life.
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and learn new skills - sometimes, we just need guidance to get there.
Outside of Therapy:
When I'm not working, you'll find me playing pickleball, enjoying cards and board games, spending time near the water, being outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, and shopping.
I believe life is about connection, learning, and growth - both in and out of the therapy room.
