My Approach:
With over 15 years of experience, I've supported youth and adults through life's challenges. I'm real, sometimes sarcastic, and always in your corner. Therapy works best when you can show up as your full, unfiltered self. I'll meet you there, with curiosity, honesty, and maybe a little humour.
Therapy with me is client-centred, open-minded, and tailored to your goals.
I hold a Master's degree in Social Work and I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I come to this work not just with professional training, but with lived experience that shapes how I show up in the therapy room. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, after years of wondering why things felt harder for me. I navigated the emotional impact of my parents' divorce, losing my mom in my early 20s and I have lived through the ups and downs of complicated family dynamics. I'm a mom of two girls, married, and - like many - my partner and I sometimes speak very different emotional languages and have different needs. I know what it's like to feel unseen, to carry grief, to wrestle with identity, and to live in a curvy body in a world that has a lot to say about that. I don't believe anyone is "too much" or "not enough" - and I bring that belief into every session.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to take steps toward the change you want to see.
I have extensive experience working with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and diverse individuals from all walks of life.
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and learn new skills - sometimes, we just need guidance to get there.
Outside Of Therapy:
When I'm not working, you'll find me playing pickleball, enjoying cards and board games (I am slightly competitive), spending time near the water, being outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, and shopping.
I believe life is about connection, learning, and growth - both in and out of the therapy room.

I acknowledge that I work and live on the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó:lō people, the Semá:th, Mathxwí, Leq'a: mel and Nooksack First Nation.
I continue to decolonize my own story—unpacking the messages I’ve absorbed, making room for truth, and complexivity of my roots, and growth.
